We shot this awesome series in the backyard of the family's home. They have a wonderful garden that made an excellent backdrop to the setting sun. Such a fun time and just look at the results.
One of my repeat clients, The Brickhouse Retreat, held a contest for some of their stylists. The two winners will receive tickets to an educational class to further their skills. It's a really awesome way to challenge everyone and keep their skills sharp for clients. I was lucky enough to shoot the event and help create these stunning images, but they did the hard work. Some models took hours to prepare. The makeup, styling and coloring were all done by the salon and these pictures are the incredible result!

As the weather warms up so to do our hearts as the time we spend with family is the most important part of our lives. I love working with families and helping them capture the most important thing in the world. Each other.
I recently started shooting for some local salons in an effort to help them display and show off the great talents they employ. We have shot everything from events to glamour and even a few styles in between. Here is a look at some of my latest work:
Children have such emotional expressions. It seems that every shutter captures the feeling of that second. I had the chance to take picture of young Spencer Tonks again this weekend and it was a blast. We went from happy to sad to confused and back to happy in the fifteen minutes we were together. Here's a taste of the take.
